Dr. Ajoy Kumar visit to SEA=MC2
Dr. Ajoy Kumar, Professor from Millersville University, Pennsylvania along with Dr. Syed Riyaz Ahammed
Dy. Director – International Relations, NITTE University visited College of Fisheries, Mangalore and SEAMC2 and interacted with staff and students. He was here to look for collaboration and a student exchange program. Dr. Shivakumar Magada, Professor and Director General, SEAMC2, Dr. Lakshmipath, HoD, Department of Aquatic Environment Management, Dr. S R Somashekar, HoD, Dept of Fisheries Economics, Statistics and Extension and Secretary General, SEAMC2, Dr. Annappaswamy, Dr. Chitanya, Dr. Sheethal involved in the meeting. Dr. Ajoy was interested in microplastic management, physical oceanography, toxicology research and was happy to note that College of Fisheries has done tremendous work on coastal water monitoring and expressed his willingness for collaboration with the college as well as the society.
